Why should you come to Congress?

Great keynote speakers:

Henry Giroux, our first keynote, is a leading public intellectual and scholar of education, culture, and politics, and McMaster University Chair in Scholarship for the Public Interest. He has authored and co-authored dozens of books, including the recent Neoliberalism’s War Against Higher Education (2014) and Dangerous Thinking in the Age of the New Authoritarianism (forthcoming, 2015).

Sarah T. Roberts, our second keynote, is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Information Studies, Western University. Her work focuses on digital labour, “knowledge work,” and the reconfigurations of labour and production in a Post-Industrial, globalized context, as well as on notions of digital information in society and its attendant sociocultural, economic, and ethical implications.
