This joint Canadian Society for Digital Humanities (CSDH) and Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH) keynote talk explores the conflicts and power dynamics between academic and public forms of knowledge via the interdisciplinary circulation of ideas within digital humanities. Amy Earhart, Texas A&M University, discusses ways that we might more productively negotiate traditional hierarchy, privilege and power to change the rules of engagement between academic and general public knowledge.
