Dr. Arias proposes an innovative theoretical approach to the analysis of Crispín Amador Ramírez’ novel El tiempo no abortó/Tonali amo tlanki.  He demonstrates how Amador undermines the heritage of Colonialism by giving equal voice to the Nahuatl person and to the mestizo woman, and provides ways to negotiate cultural differences.
